From the seller dashboard, hover over the “Profile” tab and then click on “My Account”.

This page will contain many fields but not all of them are required as denoted by the “*” asterisk symbol. Fill out the fields appropriately and press the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page. Here’s some more information about each field:

- Email: You cannot change your email because it is essential to your account on Givingism. It is displayed here purely for your convenience. If you would like to change it, you can email us directly at support@givingism.com
- Seller Name: Your legal business name. It will show up on formal documents but will not be prominently displayed on Givingism.com
- Seller Shop Name: This name is what customers will see on your products and profile. It is your “Doing Business As” (DBA).
- Store Address: This is the street that your business is located (more address fields are below)
- City:
- Country
- State
- Seller Zipcode
- Seller Contact: This should be your business’s contact number.
- Short Store Description: This field should contain a very brief description of your company such as a slogan, catch phrase, or one sentence description.
- Detailed Store Description: This field should contain a much more verbose description of your store. Here, you can include various sections, headers, and even embed videos! But there are limitations to what is permissible on Givingism. For instance, you are not allowed to include links to any external sites (other than youtube), nor can you advertise, recommend, or endorse competitors on Givingism. Read our style guide and review policies before you get started to avoid violations.
- How many business days does it typically take your business to process an order before shipping it?: This is an optional field where you enter the number of days that you expect orders to be processed before being shipped out. This does not include shipping time (which is further below). Make sure that your delivery days comply with our policies. Inaccurate time estimates may drive up customer complaints so we recommend leaving this blank if processing time is inconsistent.
- Delivery Method Name: This field is also optional and noncommittal. You can enter the name of your business’s primary fulfillment company but you may use alternative delivery methods when fulfilling orders.
- How many business days does your shipping carrier typically take to deliver a shipment?: This field is also optional and noncommittal. You can enter the amount of time you expect average shipping times to take. This field does not include the amount of time you expect orders to be processed (see Delivery Days). You will need to provide delivery times and tracking details when fulfilling individual orders so this field is noncommittal and will not have an outcome on your final delivery.
- Other Information: This field is optional. If you have some information that you would like to share about your business that doesn’t fall under your policies or detailed description, this is the place to put it.
- Other Policy: This field is optional and will be left blank for most businesses. Some businesses have niche products such as custom orders that may be exempt from Givingism’s standard policies. Information about that should be entered here.
