Seller Signup & Application

  1. Sellers will need to complete the following 2 forms in order to receive approval to start selling their products on Givingism:

    1. This form will be manually reviewed by a Givingism team member who will send you a confirmation email in about 2-3 business days.

    1. You will be able to begin setting up your seller profile immediately but it will not be visible to consumers until we have fully approved your account. This way you can deal with the hard parts without having to wait on us.

    2. Although you need to be manually approved to sell on Givingism, you can start setting up your account early. Setup seller account on Givingism by following this link: https://bless-3060.sp-seller.webkul.com/index.php?p=signup

  2. So, in total, sellers have two major steps to start selling: Apply for an account and then create and set up a profile on our seller portal.

Seller Profile Setup

  1. Sign into your account here: https://bless-3060.sp-seller.webkul.com/index.php?p=login

  2. From the seller dashboard, click “Profile” and then click on “My Account”.

  3. This page, with the “My Account” header, will contain many fields but not all of them are required as denoted by the “*” asterisk symbol. Fill out the fields appropriately and press the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page. Here’s some more information about each field:

    1. Email: You cannot change your email because it is essential to your account on Givingism. It is displayed here purely for your convenience. If you would like to change it, you can email us directly at support@givingism.com

    2. Seller Name: Your legal business name. It will show up on formal documents but will not be prominently displayed on Givingism.com

    3. Seller Shop Name: This name is what customers will see on your products and profile. It is your “Doing Business As” (DBA).

    4. Store Address: This is the street that your business is located (more address fields are below)

    5. City:

    6. Country:

    8. Seller Zipcode:

    9. Seller Contact: This should be your business’s contact number.

    10. Short Store Description: This field should contain a very brief description of your company such as a slogan, catch phrase, or one sentence description. 

    11. Detailed Store Description: This field should contain a much more verbose description of your store. Here, you can include various sections, headers, and even embed videos! But there are limitations to what is permissible on Givingism. For instance, you are not allowed to include links to any external sites (other than youtube), nor can you advertise, recommend, or endorse competitors on Givingism. Read our style guide and review policies before you get started to avoid violations.

    12. Seller Policy: What you enter in this field is optional but must comply with the seller agreement. We recommend writing the typical fulfillment and delivery time of your products as well as your typical warranties. You will also have the opportunity to write out policies on individual products if they have differing policies. Some businesses have niche products such as custom orders, intimate apparel, or food that may be exempt from Givingism’s standard policies. Information about that should be entered here.

  4. Don't forget to press "Save Changes"! Changes do not take place unless this button is pressed and this is true of nearly every other page in the seller portal.
